Three youngsters have drowned in Brahmaputra River and one is lacking after they went for a swim at Pandu Ghat in Guwahati, capital metropolis of Assam, on Sunday afternoon.
In response to locals, 4 youngsters – Dayal Sheikh, Avinash Das, Jeet Das and Deep Sarkar – all Class 10 college students, went for a swim within the river after finishing their tuition.
Efforts are on to find the fourth teen. They had been college students of Vidya Mandir College.
The cell phones, luggage, sneakers and garments of the scholars had been discovered on the banks of the river by rescue personnel.
