After War Of Words, Digvijaya Singh Meets Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister


Congress chief Digvijaya Singh on Sunday met Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at his official residence, days after accusing the CM of not giving him an appointment over the plight of the individuals affected by Tem and Suthalia irrigation tasks and staging a sit-in protest for a gathering.

He was accompanied by MP Congress president Kamal Nath.

Mr Singh claimed that he had been looking for an appointment for a very long time to apprise Mr Chouhan concerning the plight of the affected individuals however the CM’s workplace is dilly-dallying. He had additionally alleged that the appointment was fastened on Friday however it was cancelled on the final second.

Mr Singh had additionally staged a sit-in protest on Friday.

“Digvijaya Singh and I known as on the chief minister on the problem of the individuals affected by Tem and Suthalia irrigation tasks. We apprised him about irregularities within the survey and compensation work. Farmers themselves talked to the CM,” Mr Nath instructed reporters after assembly Chouhan.

Mr Nath mentioned that he accompanied Mr Singh on the latter’s request.

Mr Nath mentioned he had ran into Mr Chouhan on the airport hanger in Bhopal on Friday the place he had landed from Chhindwara whereas the CM was leaving.

Mr Singh instructed reporters that he had been constantly writing letters to Mr Chouhan on the problem of the project-affected individuals.

Mr Singh mentioned he was given an appointment for January 21 however it was cancelled out of the blue by the CMO.

“I had talked to the CM workplace. It was not my mistake if officers did not inform me (about cancellation of the assembly),” he claimed.
