Bienenstock Library names 2021 competition winners | Home Accents Today


HIGH POINT — Bienenstock Furniture Library has named the 2021 winners of its annual scholar design competitions for furnishings and inside design.

For the furnishings problem, college students submitted a design for a chair for both or each the residential and contract trade segments.

Anna Bibikova on the College of Houston secured first place and a $5,000 prize for her chair named Manta, that includes a hammock-like internet woven round a fluid metallic body, which is appropriate for outside use. Along with her prize, the design division at her college receives a $1,000 prize.

Priyanka Sanghi at Savannah Faculty of Artwork & Design received second place within the furnishings design competitors and $1,500.
