A 12-year-old boy sustained a severe eye damage after being allegedly crushed by his trainer at a college in Bihar’s Arwal district for not finishing his homework, police stated on Monday.
Police have registered a case towards the trainer and the administration of the personal college within the district’s Umairabad space following a grievance by the sufferer’s household.
The boy, a category 5 pupil, is at the moment present process therapy at a hospital in Patna.
Chatting with reporters, sufferer Amit Raj stated, “I sustained a extreme damage to my left eye when my trainer began beating me with a stick for not doing my homework on November 13. I advised my dad and mom, and so they instantly took me to the hospital for therapy.” Relations of the sufferer stated the boy was referred to a Patna hospital for extra specialised care. Arwal SP Rajendra Kumar Bheelsaid, “Amit’s relations lodged a grievance with police on Sunday towards the trainer and the administration of the college. A case has been registered for inflicting damage to the scholar. The matter is below investigation.”
