Veteran actor Sharmila Tagore on Monday arrived in Cannes along with her daughter and jewelry designer Saba Pataudi for the screening of Satyajit Ray’s 1970 movie Aranyer Din Ratri.

A 4K restored model of the Bengali-language film, titled “Days and Nights within the Forest” in English, will likely be showcased on the 2025 Cannes Movie Competition underneath the Classics part at the moment.
