We designed a compact home with an oblong ground plan and an asymmetrical roof. This allowed us to achieve sq. meters for a multi-purpose area at a decrease value by growing the peak of solely one-half of the home to accommodate a mezzanine. On the bottom ground, the kitchen, residing, and eating areas are grouped alongside an open area with home windows on three sides. A bed room and a rest room are situated on a extra intimate scale beneath the mezzanine.

Skinny wood partitions on the inside soften the concrete construction and maximize the usable area. From the skin, Casa CG blends with the tones of the encircling pine forest because of its cork cladding, which additionally will increase the home’s thermal inertia.
