A spate of pamphlets urging individuals of a selected group towards taking anti-Covid vaccine pictures and spreading rumours about their elements surfaced within the metropolis right here on Sunday, prompting police to lodge an FIR towards unknown individuals.
The pamphlets, present in posh Rajendra Nagar locality in Bareilly, appealed to a selected group to keep away from taking the vaccines, SP (Metropolis) Ravindra Singh mentioned.
The leaflets had been instantly seized and an FIR was lodged within the Premnagar police station towards unknown individuals underneath varied sections of the IPC for mischief mongering and making an attempt to whip up communal passions, he mentioned.
