Centre sets up panels to mark 150th birth anniversaries of Sardar Patel, Birsa Munda and birth centenary of Vajpayee

The federal government has arrange three high-level committees to mark the a hundred and fiftieth start anniversaries of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and tribal icon Birsa Munda, in addition to the start centenary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair all three committees.

The Centre has introduced the structure of the panels in three separate gazette notifications.

“To commemorate the a hundred and fiftieth start anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the competent authority has permitted the structure of a Excessive Stage Committee,” reads a gazette notification by the Ministry of Tradition, revealed on August 25.

Patel, born on October 31, 1875, was a freedom fighter and unbiased India’s first house minister.

He’s also called the ‘Iron Man of India,’ and the Statue of Unity in Gujarat celebrates his legacy.

“To commemorate the a hundred and fiftieth Delivery Anniversary of Birsa Munda, the Competent Authority has permitted the structure of a Excessive Stage Committee,” reads one other gazette notification by the ministry, revealed on August 23.

Munda, a tribal icon, can be celebrated as a freedom fighter.

“To commemorate the one centesimal Delivery Anniversary of Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Competent Authority has permitted the structure of a Excessive Stage Committee,” reads a separate gazette notification, revealed on August 25.

Vajpayee served as Prime Minister for 3 phrases — first, for 13 days (Could 16–June 1, 1996); second, for simply over a 12 months (1998–99; and third, for a full five-year time period (1999–2004). Beneath his governance, India carried out its second nuclear checks in 1998.
