Davos 2023: UAE, India Hold Talks On Settling Non-Oil Trade In Rupees

The United Arab Emirates is in early discussions with India to commerce non-oil commodities in Indian rupees, Minister for International Commerce Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi informed Reuters on Thursday.

The minister stated different international locations, together with China, had additionally raised the problem of settling non-oil commerce funds in native currencies. He added that the UAE is hoping to conclude a commerce settlement with Cambodia within the first quarter.
