DPIIT joins hands with Startup Policy Forum to establish India as global innovation hub


The Division for Promotion of Trade and Inner Commerce (DPIIT) has partnered with the Startup Policy Forum (SPF) to spice up India’s startup ecosystem and set up it as a worldwide hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. The partnership goals to empower startups, innovators and entrepreneurs to drive economic growth, in accordance with a joint assertion. As a part of the collaboration, SPF Startup Baithak can be held on January 15-16, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam as a part of the Nationwide Startup Week celebrations.

“The collaboration goals to amplify innovation, drive know-how adoption, and increase manufacturing capabilities in India. By forging partnerships amongst DPIIT and SPF members, the alliance seeks to advertise the Indian startup ecosystem globally on the centre stage and facilitate relationship with worldwide stakeholders and ecosystem enablers,” Startup India Director Sumeet Kumar Jarangal stated.

The partnership will curate specialised immersive programmes to attach international buyers with India’s startup ecosystem, the assertion stated.

SPF is an business alliance with members like Razorpay, Cred, Groww, Zerodha, Pine Labs, OYO, Acko, Swiggy, Dream11, Cell Premier League (MPL), Livspace, Cars24, Cardekho, and Mobikwik amongst others.
