Earthquake Tremors In Delhi, Other Parts Of North India: How Twitter Reacted

Sturdy tremors had been felt in Delhi, its surrounding areas and plenty of different elements of north India, after a strong earthquake of magnitude 6.3 struck in Tajikistan on Friday. #Earthquake began trending nearly instantly on Twitter as a whole bunch of customers began sharing their expertise. Visuals on social media present individuals dashing out of their houses in panic.

“No stories of any harm up to now in Amritsar or different elements of Punjab following the #earthquake. High officers of @PunjabPoliceInd & native administration are conserving a detailed watch on the scenario. Praying for everybody’s security,” Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh tweeted.

The epicentre of the earthquake was in Tajikistan, in keeping with India’s Nationwide Middle for Seismology. The earthquake struck at 10:31 pm IST at a depth of 74 km from the floor.
