The Swedish telecoms gear maker mentioned the multi-year deal included international cross-licences for patented mobile standard-essential applied sciences, and granted sure different patent rights.
“The settlement ends all ongoing patent-related authorized disputes between the events,” it mentioned in a press release.
The deal comes after Ericsson in January filed a second set of patent infringement lawsuits towards the U.S. maker of iPhones.
Each corporations had already sued one another in the USA as negotiations failed over the renewal of a seven-year licensing contract for telecoms patents first struck in 2015.
