Europe will implement regulation on synthetic intelligence in an innovation-friendly method to make sure innovation and funding are inspired, and reduce extra crimson tape, the European Union’s digital chief mentioned on Monday.
“I agree with industries on the truth that now, we even have to take a look at our guidelines, that now we have an excessive amount of overlapping regulation,” Fee Vice President Henna Virkkunen informed Reuters on the sidelines of an AI summit in Paris.
“With regards to AI, I am dedicated that I’ll implement (regulation) in a really innovation-friendly method to ensure that we’re encouraging investments and improvements.”
