From Oldest Contestant To Richest Winner: All About Delhi Assembly Polls

Delhi Meeting elections noticed BJP’s Karnail Singh emerge because the richest winner with property value Rs 259 crore, Umang Bajaj at 31 because the youngest winner, Tilak Ram Gupta because the oldest contestant at 73, and AAP’s Amanatullah Khan the candidate with the best, 19, felony instances.

Karnail Singh, who received from Shakur Basti, was adopted by Manjinder Singh Sirsa from Rajouri Backyard with Rs 248 crore and Parvesh Sahib Singh from New Delhi with Rs 115 crore.

Among the many 699 candidates who contested, the youngest winner was 31-year-old Umang Bajaj of the BJP, who secured victory from the Rajinder Nagar constituency.

Alternatively, the oldest candidate to contest was 73-year-old Tilak Ram Gupta, who received from the Tri Nagar seat.

A number of profitable candidates even have pending felony instances, in accordance with a report by the Affiliation for Democratic Reforms.

AAP’s Amanatullah Khan from Okhla is one such candidate, with 19 felony instances towards him, adopted by Kuldeep Kumar from Kondli with seven instances.

Aam Aadmi Celebration’s Jarnail Singh from Tilak Nagar has 4, and Sanjeev Jha from Burari has two instances.

From the saffron social gathering, Manjinder Singh Sirsa has 5 felony instances, whereas Parvesh Verma has one.

Verma secured the victory towards AAP supremo and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal within the New Delhi constituency, profitable by a margin of 4,089 votes.

Sirsa received the Rajouri Backyard seat by 18,190 votes, Tilak Ram Gupta by 15,896 votes, and Umang Bajaj by 1,231 votes.

Khan received Okhla by 23,639 votes, Jarnail Singh by 11,656 votes, and Sanjeev Jha by 20,601 votes.
