Hitachi ABB Energy Grid received orders price Rs 160 crore from Indian Railways electrical locomotive producer Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) and the Central Organisation for Rail Electrification (CORE) to offer electrification or to energy electrical freight locomotives. In line with an announcement launched by Hitachi ABB Energy Grid, the corporate will ship traction transformers for Chittaranjan Locomotive Works. This supply might be carried out for one in every of Indian Railways’ most profitable class of electrical locomotives – the WAG 9.
