Holiday declared for schools

All authorities, Zilla Parishad, aided and personal faculties in Medchal-Malkajgiri district will stay closed on Thursday in view of the heavy rain forecast.

District Collector M. Manu Chowdary, after a overview with officers on Wednesday, directed the District Academic Workplace with the orders.

Just a few non-public faculties in Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts have voluntarily declared Thursday a vacation.

Earlier, on Tuesday, an official order by the College Schooling Division introduced half day for faculties within the GHMC limits on August 13 (Wednesday) and 14 (Thursday).

In the meantime, late on Wednesday evening, the College Schooling Division, noting the heavy rainfall forecast, declared Thursday a vacation for all faculties within the districts of Sangareddy, Medak and Vikarabad.
