Located on a sloping terrain with gorgeous views of the Serra do Marão, this home integrates into the Trás-os-Montes panorama by two volumes that mould themselves to the pure slope, making a sculptural composition of intersecting types. These volumes observe the terrain’s gradient, organizing into two massive blocks that dialogue with the topography. By means of the triangles fashioned by the sloped roofs, the home features a singular dynamic, paying homage to the area’s conventional roofs, reinforcing its reference to the native id.

Constructed in uncovered concrete and pure stone flooring, the home balances modernity and nature, rigorously orienting itself in direction of the panorama. Entry is supplied by a courtyard with a central tree, making a scenic and welcoming environment upon arrival, whereas inside, a backyard enhances the connection with nature.

The higher home windows are protected with aluminum slatted shutters, evoking the normal native granaries, enriching the undertaking with cultural references from the area. Moreover, an infinity pool, strategically positioned, displays the panorama like a mirror of water, providing an built-in visible expertise between the inside and exterior. The sloped roof, impressed by vernacular structure, not solely respects the agricultural context but additionally contributes to the visible sculpture that the home represents.
