New Delhi:
A Sharjah-Lucknow IndiGo flight made an emergency touchdown on Tuesday in Pakistan’s Karachi after a passenger suffered a medical emergency.
In response to an official assertion by the airline, the passenger was declared lifeless on arrival in Karachi by the airport medical workforce.
“IndiGo flight 6E 1412 from Sharjah to Lucknow was diverted to Karachi attributable to a medical emergency. Sadly, the passenger couldn’t be revived and was declared lifeless on arrival by the airport medical workforce,” the assertion stated.
The airways expressed condolences to the household of the passenger.
Earlier this month, an Indian air ambulance had made an emergency touchdown on the Islamabad airport for refuelling.
