The Jharkhand authorities has reached out to some pharma corporations in Bangladesh for importing the antiviral drug Remdesivir, which is used within the therapy of significant Covid sufferers, Chief Minister Hemant Soren tweeted on Sunday. He stated the state authorities has sought the centre’s permission for purchasing the drug from overseas.
“With the rising demand Remedisivir for crucial sufferers in Jharkhand and its unavailability, we’ve got reached out to pharma corporations in Bangladesh for purchasing round 50,000 vials for emergency use. I’ve written to (Union minister) DV Sadanand Gowda ji’s permission to import ASAP (as quickly as potential),” Mr Soren tweeted.
