Aligarh:
Karni Sena chief has been booked for allegedly asserting a reward of Rs 25 lakh for anybody who kills Samajwadi Get together (SP) MP Ramji Lal Suman, police stated on Thursday.
The accused, recognized as Mohan Chauhan, introduced the reward following Suman’s controversial comment on Sixteenth-century Rajput king Rana Sanga.
Reportedly, Chauhan, in a video, stated that the MP must pay the worth for his act and introduced the reward.
The video has been circulating on social media because the final week of March. He additional added that if given the chance, he would personally perform the act.
Aarti Singh, SP Mahila Sabha chief (Aligarh), lodged a grievance on this regard at Gandhi Park police station on March 29.
Nonetheless, the grievance was transferred on Wednesday to Jawaan police station, beneath whose jurisdiction Chauhan resides. A proper case has now been registered, and a probe is underway, police stated.
