Rama Rao blamed the Congress authorities within the State for the demise of a sanitation employee of Mulugu Municipality and demanded that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Minister D. Expressing deep anguish over the demise of sanitation employee M. Mahesh in Mulugu, who allegedly consumed pesticide after not receiving his pending wages for the final a number of months, Mr. Rama Rao on Sunday described the incident as a ‘government-sponsored homicide’. He requested the federal government to offer a job to Mahesh’s widow too.
Mr. Rama Rao spoke to the bereaved household on cellphone and instructed BRS chief Y. Satish Reddy to name on the bereaved household at Madhavaraopally. Talking to Mr. Rama Rao, Mahesh’s mom alleged that her son had not acquired wages for the final six months and had struggled to feed his spouse and 4 daughters. She broke down narrating how Mahesh, unable to bear the humiliation of repeatedly begging for his dues, consumed pesticide offered by the municipality for cremation work.
Mr. Rama Rao assured full assist from the BRS and promised monetary assist within the names of Mahesh’s daughters. Mahesh’s niece Jyothi alleged that sure people had pressured Mahesh to report a video earlier than his demise, falsely stating that he had consumed pesticide by mistake. She maintained that it was the non-payment of salaries that drove him to take the acute step.
