A. Bijukumar, Vice-Chancellor of Kerala College of Fisheries and Ocean Research (KUFOS), has rejected stories that he was a part of an academic session attended by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat in reference to the schooling conclave organised by Shiksha Samskriti Utthan Nyas in Kochi on Sunday (July 27, 2025).
In an announcement issued on Sunday, he acknowledged that he had attended an schooling seminar organised by the Affiliation of Indian Universities at Amrita Vidyapeetam in Kochi on Sunday. He mentioned he had introduced his views on the dialogue on ‘Academic transformation: Kerala’s potential and prospects’ held as a part of the occasion. “The information that I used to be a part of a session attended by the RSS chief was incorrect,” it mentioned.
The organisers of the occasion had earlier mentioned that Vice-Chancellors of Central College, Kasaragod, Calicut College, Kannur College, KUFOS and Kerala College of Well being Sciences would attend numerous periods held as a part of the conclave.
