Shrikant Tyagi, the Noida politician arrested after he was filmed verbally abusing and assaulting a lady, has stated that the lady was “like his sister” and that he “realises his mistake”.
“I remorse the way in which I received carried away and used slangs. I shouldn’t have achieved that. She is like my sister. Ladies have a spot of respect within the society.
