MacKenzie-Childs launches line with fine art photographer


MacKenzie-Childs has launched a tabletop and equipment assortment in partnership with effective artwork photographer Gray Malin that reimagines the model’s iconic checkered sample and incorporates a brand-new colorway.

Malin’s signature aerial images of snow-covered alpine scenes has been reimagined with skier motifs on an icy-blue shade palette.

“Collaborating with MacKenzie-Childs was a pure extension of my creative world,” stated Malin. “There’s a shared sense of playfulness, craftsmanship and storytelling in each our work. For this assortment, I drew inspiration from my images of snow-covered locations, the cool tones and alpine scenes carry a contemporary perspective to the long-lasting verify.”

There are 15 items within the assortment that encompasses serveware, dinnerware, glassware and equipment, in addition to image frames and a checkered throw.

The gathering is unique to Bloomingdale’s and MacKenzie-Childs shops in New York Metropolis and Aurora, N.Y., the place the corporate is headquartered.
