Goa Polls 2022: Shripad Naik’s son was reportedly searching for ticket from Cumbharjua (File)

The BJP on Wednesday introduced its second and remaining listing of six candidates for the February 14 Goa Meeting elections.

It included Meeting Speaker Rajesh Patnekar who would contest from his present constituency of Bicholim.

However Siddhesh Naik, the son of Union minister Shripad Naik who was reportedly searching for ticket from Cumbharjua, didn’t discover place within the listing.

Ms Jainita, former state minister and sitting MLA Pandurang Madkaikar’s spouse, would contest on BJP ticket from the constituency.

The celebration’s first listing of 34 candidates had equally excluded Utpal Parrikar, former chief minister late Manohar Parrikar’s son. Utpal Parrikar subsequently stop the BJP and introduced that he would contest from Panaji as impartial.

The second listing additionally featured Antonio Fernandes who would contest from his present St Cruz seat, whereas Joseph Sequeira, who joined the BJP on Tuesday, was fielded from Calangute.

Antonio Barbosa will contest from Curtorim whereas Narayan Naik will contest from Cortalim.
