Paris trend watch: Luminous Blue

A serious colour assertion I noticed at (and at retail in Belgium, Paris and Amsterdam) is what I name “luminous blue” or cobalt blue. I see it sneaking in in every single place, from residence decor gadgets together with ceramic pitchers, vases, accent decor and artificial crystal. I like seeing this saturated shade used as an accent in residence decor as it’s soothing, but energetic. I discover that luminous blue has a relaxing but vibrant sensibility and works nicely as an accent colour in any house. — , Nancy Hearth Designs

One in all my favourite vendor shows was by the Italian firm Arcucci Ceramics as a result of they’d a ravishing assortment of print, sample and colour. I used to be particularly drawn to their use of geometric stripes paired in a horizontal and vertical layering format.
