Actor, filmmaker and producer Prakash Raj will head the jury to resolve the Kerala State Movie Awards for 2024. The State authorities issued the order which additionally appointed filmmakers Ranjan Pramod and Jibu Jacob because the members of the 2 sub-committees for the preliminary judging. Each will even be members of the ultimate judging panel.
The ultimate judging panel will even embody dubbing artiste Bhagyalekshmi, playback singer Gayathri Ashokan, filmmaker and sound designer Nithin Lukose, writer and screenwriter Santhosh Echikkanam. The opposite members of the preliminary judging panel are movie critic M.C. Raja Narayanan, filmmaker V.C. Abhilash, poet and lyricist Vijayarajamallika, cinematographer Subal Ok.R., filmmaker Rajesh Ok., and author and lyricist Shamshad Hussain.
Filmmaker Madhu Eravankara will head the jury for awards on writings associated to cinema. The committee will even include movie critic A. Chandrasekhar and author Vineetha Vijayan. Chalachitra Academy Secretary C. Ajoy would be the member secretary in all of the panels. A complete of 128 movies have been submitted for the award. The jury screening will start on October 6.
