Gurugram:
An unidentified man allegedly fired a shot at a employee after he was not allowed to smoke a cigarette inside a comfort retailer in Gurugram, police stated on Saturday.
The person entered the 24-hour comfort retailer in Sector 22 with a cigarette in his hand round 4 am on Friday. When the safety guard requested him to not smoke inside, he abused the workers, in response to a grievance.
The person scolded the workers and demanded that somebody include him to position the bought items in his automobile, which was parked exterior the shop, safety supervisor Rupendra Singh stated.
When the products had been being positioned within the automobile, the person began loading his pistol instantly and fired at retailer affiliate Ashish, who managed to narrowly escape.
The person claimed that the shop employees insulted him by stopping from smoking inside and fled from the spot in his automobile, the grievance said.
An FIR has been registered on the Palam Vihar police station underneath Part 307 (try and homicide) of the Indian Penal Code.
The whole act was captured within the CCTV footage and police try to determine the suspect with the assistance of the automobile’s registration quantity, investigating officer Ashok Kumar stated.
