A 42-year-old man from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh has complained to authorities a few store allegedly promoting him adulterated liquor as he didn’t get a “kick” after consuming it, following which the excise commissioner right here has requested officers to conduct a probe into the matter and take motion accordingly.
Lokesh Sothia, a resident of Bahadur Ganj space in Ujjain, in his grievance stated he purchased 4 sealed ‘quarter’ bottles of nation liquor from a store on April 12.
“My pal and I consumed liquor from two of these bottles (every of 180 ml), however I didn’t really feel excessive (intoxicated),” Sothia, who operates a parking zone, advised PTI.
The person claimed the bottles contained water as a substitute of liquor.
“I’ve saved the 2 different bottles intact, to be submitted as proof when required. When contacted, Damor advised PTI on Saturday that he has requested an official to look into Sothia’s grievance. “After the probe, motion can be taken accordingly,” he added.
Sothia’s lawyer Narendra Singh Dhakde stated they’d file a dishonest case in a shopper discussion board.
