Violence broke out at the moment in West Bengal’s Hooghly whereas the BJP was taking out a procession themed on Ram Navami. Earlier this week too, clashes had erupted between two teams in Bengal’s Howrah throughout a Ram Navami procession.

BJP nationwide vice chairman Dilip Ghosh participated on the ‘Ram Navami shobha yatra’ at the moment.

The scenario in Howrah, some 40 km from Hooghly, is peaceable and beneath management, the police mentioned. Outlets and markets opened as visitors motion began from morning.

On Thursday, clashes broke out between two teams when a Ram Navami procession was passing by means of Kazipara in Howrah city.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleged the BJP and different right-wing teams have been behind the violence.

The BJP denied the allegations and demanded a probe by the Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) into the matter.
