HIGH POINT – WithIt, a ladies’s management improvement community for the house and furnishings industries, has introduced the nominees for its 2020 WOW Awards together with the addition of a brand new Visionary Award.

These annual awards acknowledge enterprise leaders nominated by their friends who’ve contributed to the success of the house and furnishings trade and have demonstrated vital affect on their firms and the trade.

Kimberly Ward

The brand new Visionary Award honors a girl of accomplishment whose perception and actions have considerably impacted the house and furnishings industries. WithIt is presenting this award posthumously to Kimberly Ward, founding father of the Black Inside Designers Community. Keia McSwaim, present president of the community, will settle for the award in her honor.

  • Future Chief Award – Honors a younger lady within the trade who has demonstrated excellent achievement and the potential to develop into an trade chief. Nominees for are Madeline Brown, Sherrill Furnishings; Sydney Harris, Furnitureland South; and Jessica Phillips, The Phillips Assortment.
  • Management Award – Acknowledges the contributions of a girl who has demonstrated profitable management in her firm, WithIt and the house furnishings trade. Nominees are Carrie Dillon, Worldwide Textiles Alliance; Stefanie Lucas, American Leather-based; and Meganne Wecker, Skyline Furnishings.
  • Mentoring Award – Honors an organization or particular person for his or her efforts to foster advocacy, improvement and promotion of girls of their firm and the trade. Nominees are Gail Doby, Gail Doby Teaching and Consulting; Cindy Corridor, Sherrill Furnishings; and Deborah Klein, DK Inside Designer.
  • Gross sales Excellence Award – New for 2020 and created to acknowledge a girl who’s extraordinary in gross sales, demonstrates excellence in schooling and relationships along with her prospects, and distinctive dedication to the producers she represents. Nominees are Tami Capriotti, Trusted Advisors Advertising; Janna Grant, Lakeside Furnishings Gross sales; and Michelle Grant, Dardenne Designs.

As a result of pandemic, the board of administrators has postponed the gala celebrating the WOW Awards till April 16, 2021, the place finalists and recipients might be celebrated throughout a small gathering.
