Police have arrested a lady and her lover for allegedly killing her aunt and brother as she was unable to repay a mortgage of Rs 4 lakh taken from them, officers mentioned.
The our bodies of 40-year-old Mala and her 18-year-old son Vinay had been discovered floating in Gangnahar canal round three months in the past.
The 2 had been killed by drowning by the accused — Neha and Yogesh — and their two accomplices who’re lacking, police mentioned.
Superintendent of Police (metropolis) Martand Prakash Singh advised PTI, “We’ve got arrested one Neha and her lover Yogesh in reference to the homicide of her maternal aunt Mala and her son Vinay.” Police arrested the accused duo on Wednesday. Mala, who was a widow, lived along with her mom and son. Neha had taken the mortgage nearly a 12 months in the past.
“Neha and Yogesh weren’t ready to return the mortgage. So, they conspired to kill Mala and her son,” the officer defined.
On March 25, the accused took the duo to a lodge on the pretext of returning the mortgage. Nevertheless, the girl and her son had been pushed into the canal one after the other resulting in their deaths because of underwater asphyxiation.
Whereas the mom was killed in Raya space, her son was thrown within the canal close to Mant space, round 12 km away.
“Neha and Yogesh took the assistance of 1 Imran and Rakesh within the homicide. Our groups try to arrest them,” mentioned the officer.
