YouTube Back Up After Worldwide Outage That Affected Nearly 286,000 Users

YouTube, owned by Alphabet Inc’s Google, mentioned late on Wednesday it had mounted a glitch that led to a worldwide outage of the video-streaming service.

DownDetector.com, an internet site which screens outages, confirmed practically 286,000 incidents of individuals reporting points with the service.

The problem began at round 6:53 p.m. ET (23:53 GMT), based on Downdetector.com, with customers complaining about hassle in watching movies on the platform.

“We’re so sorry for the interruption. That is mounted throughout all gadgets & YouTube providers,” YouTube mentioned in a tweet, with out explaining what had brought on the outage.

Google didn’t reply to a Reuters request for touch upon the outage.
