Fourteen Indian seamen who have been stranded in Yemen for over 10 months after their ship sank within the Gulf of Aden flew again to India on Saturday from Dubai.
The 14 seamen have been taken into custody on February 14 by the native Houthi authorities in Yemen, the Indian embassy in Djibouti mentioned in an announcement.
“After persistent and painstaking efforts, the Embassy of India, Djibouti was in a position to get them launched on November 28 via its Sana’a workplace,” the assertion mentioned.
In accordance with the embassy, the stranded Indians had misplaced their passport and different paperwork and belongings. It additionally requested all maritime and different authorities involved to be aware of their state of affairs and help them.

The Indian Consulate in Dubai confirmed the arrival of the Indian seamen in Dubai.
Chandrashekhar Bhatia of the Gulf Maharashtra Enterprise Discussion board (GMBF) mentioned that the Indian nationals took a flight to Mumbai from the Dubai Worldwide Airport on Saturday night time.
