Helicopter Crash: The military helicopter needed to force-land in in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Two pilots have been killed after a military helicopter crashed into the hills close to Patnitop in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir at the moment.
Officers stated the pilots of the Military Aviation helicopter, each Majors, have been critically injured.
Main Rohit Kumar and Main Anuj Rajput have been pulled out of the chopper and brought to hospital.
“We shifted them to hospital however sadly each misplaced their lives,” a senior Military officer stated.
Visuals shared on social media confirmed the wrecked helicopter, a Cheetah, on a hillside and locals making an attempt to tug out the pilots.
The 2 pilots have been recognized as Main Rohit Kumar and Main Anuj Rajput.
The incident occurred round 10.30 am, officers stated.
The Northern Command of the military on Twitter stated that Main Rohit Kumar and Main Anuj Rajput “made the supreme sacrifice within the line of responsibility on 21 Sept 2021 at Patnitop.”

Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Twitter stated he was “disturbed to obtain the information of Military Helicopter crash round Patnitop area.”
