3 troopers have been injured in a blast inside their “personal employed” automobile in J&Okay Shopian district

Three troopers have been injured in a blast inside their “personal employed” automobile in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir immediately, the police mentioned.

The character of the blast is being investigated, Inspector Normal of Police, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar mentioned.

“A #blast happened inside a personal employed automobile at Sedow, #Shopian. 03 troopers injured & shifted to Hospital,” Mr Kumar mentioned on Twitter.

The character and the supply of the blast – whether or not it was as a result of a grenade or already planted IED (Improvised Explosive Gadget) contained in the automobile or malfunctioning of the battery – is being investigated, he mentioned.

The injured troopers have been admitted to a hospital. The automobile was severely broken within the blast too. Sources have mentioned that as a result of severity of the blast, it’s unlikely that it was brought on by a battery explosion, although an intensive investigation is being carried out.

There was an increase in focused assaults, particularly towards Kashmiri Pandits, by terrorists throughout Jammu and Kashmir.

In the latest focused assault, a civilian was shot at by terrorists at Keegam in Kashmir’s Shopian district final night. The police mentioned civilian Farooq Ahmad Sheikh was fired upon. He was injured and is being handled at a hospital.
