30 companies penalised in three years over non-compliance with CSR rules

The Centre has penalised 30 companies over the previous three years by FY25 for non-compliance of guidelines governing the corporate social responsibility (CSR) spending, minister of state for company affairs Harsh Malhotra informed the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. In a written reply, he stated: “Penal motion is initiated as per provisions of the (Corporations) Act, following due technique of regulation after examination of information and / or receipt of grievance towards the businesses and officers-in-default.”
