36 individuals have died in landslides in Maharashtra’s Raigad district as incessant rain continued within the Konkan area of the state. Helicopters are getting used to evacuate individuals from the flood-hit areas within the district.
Authorities have appealed to these trapped to go to the rooftops or on heights from the place the rescue groups within the helicopters can spot and evacuate them.
The deaths occurred in three landslides which passed off yesterday, with 32 our bodies being present in one spot and 4 others in one other location.
