5 of seven MLAs of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United) in Manipur joined the ruling BJP on Friday, an announcement from the state meeting mentioned, weeks after he broke off an alliance with the celebration for the second time in 9 years.

The transfer by the MLAs comes weeks after Nitish Kumar dumped the BJP and joined forces with Tejashwi Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal, the Congress and different events, displacing the BJP from the co-pilot’s seat in Bihar.
