The BSF on Wednesday seized heroin and arms and ammunition alongside the Indo-Pak border in Punjab, allegedly being pushed in by the Pakistani-based smugglers, officers stated.
An official assertion issued in Amritsar stated the BSF troops noticed suspicious motion forward of the border fence within the Ferozepur Sector early within the morning.
A search was launched within the suspected space throughout which six packets of heroin weighing almost 6.3 kilograms and tied in yellow wrapping, one pistol, one journal and 50 rounds had been recovered, it stated.
