Kashmir accident: Those that had been rescuedsuccumbed to accidents on the hospital, officers stated.
Srinagar:
9 folks, together with an Military personnel, had been killed when their cab rolled right into a deep gorge on the Srinagar-Leh nationwide freeway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officers stated on Thursday.
The cab, on its manner from Kargil to Srinagar, skidded off the highway late on Wednesday at Zojila and rolled down the gorge, they added.
The police, military and locals launched a search-cum-rescue operation and recovered 4 our bodies and rescued 5 others who had been rushed to a hospital, officers stated.
These rescued succumbed to accidents on the hospital, they stated.
The useless have been recognized as Poonch-resident Azhar Iqbal (driver), Ankit Dileep, a resident of Gujarat, Gandhi Marmu and his father Mangal Marmu, each residents of Jharkhand, Ranjit Kumar, a resident of Punjab, Muhammad Aslam Parray a resident of Kulgam (JK), Naib Subedar Nanak Chand, a resident of UP, Dileshwar Sidhar, resident of Chhattisgarh, and one other individual recognized as Sunil Lal.
