A remarkable Ganesh Utsav celebration in Exotica Casa Rio Dombivli, Mumbai, India

The Ganesh Utsav celebration at Exotica Casa Rio in Dombivali East on 8th September 2024 was truly a memorable event. The five-day celebration reached its peak with a stunning dance performance that left the audience spellbound. Organized by Mr. Jerry Francis, the Chairman of Exotica, with the help of his cultural community members, the event showcased an array of vibrant performances.

However, the highlight of the evening was a captivating dance performed by 18 young children from the “Beat Catchers” dance group on the *Hanuman Chalisa*. These young performers, aged between 5-12 years—Swati, Vedansh, Kritika, Breonna, Vashist, Aadya, Tanaya, Riddhi, Yuvan, Yuvani, Yashvi, Neha, Saisha, Ritika, Ridhan, Ekagra, Nayara, and Arun—dazzled the audience with their synchronized moves in striking orange and white costumes.

The performance was choreographed by Mrs. Prerna Sinha, an experienced dancer with over 20 years of experience on national and international platforms. Her meticulous choreography and dedication were widely appreciated, with the audience considering this performance the crowning jewel of the celebration.

Parents were overwhelmed by the children’s enthusiasm and coordination, with Shalini calling it the “best performance of the evening,” while Meena commended Prerna’s hard work. Debasmita, Shruti, Seemu, Yamini, Aarti, Aradhana, Neha, Shilpi, and Richa, along with other parents, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the dedication and teamwork that went into the performance.

Special mention to Mr. Babasaheb, the founder of SFG Gymnastics, and coach Mr. Shubham for their contributions, no matter how brief, added value to the performance.

Prerna Sinha graciously thanked everyone involved, including Mr. Jerry Francis and his team for giving opportunity, to all the talents as well as the parents and children for cooperation .

She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to her own parents—Mrs. Anjali Sinha, a social worker and founder of Swanjali Gruh Udyog, and Mr. Anil Kumar Sinha, a book author—who assisted in organizing props, costumes for the event and for been a constant pillar of support.

In an exciting announcement, Prerna Sinha and Christeena, daughter of Jerry Francis, revealed that they will be opening the “Beat Catchers” Dance Academy at Alpha Fitness Gym near Gate No. 2 of Casa Rio.

After three successful years of group performances under the “Beat Catchers” banner, this new academy is set to elevate the brand and offer professional dance training. For those interested in enrolling, Prerna Sinha can be contacted at 9620366066 for admissions.

This event will undoubtedly be remembered as a defining moment in the celebration and the beginning of a new chapter for the talented young dancers of “Beat Catchers.”
