New Delhi:

Union Residence Minister Amit Shah, focused by the opposition over an explosive report on the alleged use of Pegasus spy ware for surveillance of politicians, journalists and others, referred to as it “a report by disrupters for the obstructers”.

Alleging that the report was timed to trigger disruptions in parliament, he even used a phrase his critics have typically used to focus on him: “Aap chronology samajhiye (perceive the chronology).”

Mr Shah spoke on a snowballing scandal of spy ware allegedly used to hack telephones in 2017-2019. Over 300 numbers are from India, although there isn’t a proof that every one had been hacked.

“Individuals have typically related this phrase with me in lighter vein however right now I need to severely say – the timing of the selective leaks, the disruptions…Aap Chronology Samajhiye!” the Residence Minister stated in parliament.

“It is a report by the disrupters for the obstructers. Disrupters are international organisations which don’t like India to progress,” he added.
