After Dog Walking Row, Bureaucrat Transferred To Ladakh, Wife To Arunachal


New Delhi:

The IAS officer who used to stroll his canine at a stadium in Delhi has been transferred to Ladakh. The transfer got here hours after the Indian Categorical’s exclusive report that the government-run Thyagraj Stadium was being closed for sports activities actions sooner than traditional in order that the bureaucrat may stroll his canine on the facility.

In an order, the Dwelling Ministry stated Sanjeev Khirwar, a 1994-batch IAS officer, has been shifted to Ladakh and his spouse to Arunachal Pradesh with instant impact. 

In response to official sources, the Dwelling Ministry had requested for a report from the Delhi Chief Secretary on the information report on the misuse of amenities at Thyagraj Stadium by Mr Khirwar and his spouse.

The chief secretary submitted a report back to the Dwelling Ministry within the night, prompting the ministry to order their switch.

Sanjeev Khirwar is presently posted as Principal Secretary (Income) in Delhi.

Earlier at present, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal directed all state-run amenities to remain open for sportsperson until 10 pm.

“It has come to my discover that sportspersons are going through issues due to the warmth and the stadiums get closed by 6 or 7 pm. We’re issuing directions that each one sports activities amenities ought to stay open until 10 pm in order that sportspersons can use them,” Mr Kejriwal stated.
