The ruling AIADMK has allotted 20 seats to its ally Bharatiya Janata Celebration for the upcoming Tamil Nadu meeting elections.
Earlier within the day, AIADMK introduced its first checklist of six candidates that included high leaders together with Chief Minister Edappadi Ok Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam.
Mr Palaniswami will contest the election from Edappadi constituency, whereas Mr Panneerselvam will contest from Bodinayakanur.
Tamil Nadu meeting elections shall be held in a single part on April 6 and the counting of votes shall be completed on Could 2.
Polls shall be held for 234 seats in Tamil Nadu with the Congress-DMK and BJP-AIADMK alliance being the key teams contesting towards one another.
