Eleven people have died in the Air India Express plane crash at the Kozhikode International airport, according to Kerala DGP.
Seven bodies have been taken out from the crash site.
The mishap happened when an Air India Express plane skidded off the runway while landing at the Kozhikode International airport.
At least 170 of those onboard the flight, including passengers and cabin crew, have been rescued, DGCA DG Arun Kumar said. A helpline (0565463903) has been set up for families of passengers of IX-1344.
