Amala Paul, in a latest interview with ETimes, opened up about why she refused to be part of Mani Ratnam’s dream undertaking Ponniyin Selvan. The actress revealed that when she initially auditioned for the movie, she didn’t get the half. Nevertheless, when Mani Ratnam referred to as her in 2021 and supplied her a job within the undertaking, she refused to star in it as a result of she was “not within the psychological state to do it.” Amala Paul instructed ETimes, “There was a really legitimate cause for why this has occurred.
