Anand Mahindra Shares Video Clip Of New Magnificent Hindu Temple In Dubai

Industrialist Anand Mahindra has shared a clip on his Twitter deal with of the Hindu Temple of Dubai which was formally inaugurated on Tuesday.

Positioned in a neighbourhood known as the emirate’s ‘worship village’, the temple blends Indian and Arabic architectural designs. The temple formally opened its doorways to worshippers throughout the UAE on Tuesday, reported PTI.

Anand Mahindra, 67, referred to as the temple “Magnificient” and stated that he’ll go to it on his subsequent journey to Dubai. “I consider this magnificent Temple was formally inaugurated immediately. Auspicious timing. Will be certain to go to it on my subsequent journey to Dubai.” Mr Mahindra wrote on Twitter.

A strong message of tolerance, peace and concord, bringing collectively individuals from varied faiths, marked the official opening ceremony, the Khaleej Instances newspaper reported.

Clergymen chanted “Om shanti shanti Om” in a peace salutation and musicians enjoying the tabla and dhol — Indian drums — greeted individuals as they entered.

The ‘worship village’ in Jebel Ali now homes 9 non secular shrines, together with seven church buildings, the Guru Nanak Darbar Sikh Gurudwara, and the brand new Hindu home of worship.

Plans to assemble the 70,000-square-foot home of worship had been introduced in 2020, shortly after the Covid-19 pandemic struck town.

The temple options detailed hand carvings, ornate pillars, brass spires and hanging lattice screens that mix Indian and Arabic structure.
