In his second innings within the movie trade, actor Fardeen Khan on Sunday stated he’s wanting ahead to doing significant work and can be open to venturing into South cinema.
Fardeen, recognized for movies similar to Prem Aggan, Jungle, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, and No Entry, returned to cinema after 14 years with final 12 months’s Netflix collection Heeramandi. He adopted it up with movies similar to Khel Khel Mein and Visfot.
Requested if he want to work in South cinema, the actor informed PTI: “With the proper alternatives, I am open to it (exploring South cinema).” He was talking on the inexperienced carpet of the IIFA Awards 2025 underway in Jaipur on Sunday.
Fardeen stated he’s comfortable to have made a comeback at a time when issues are wanting good for Indian cinema.
“I am wanting ahead to doing a little significant work like I all the time have. I am at a special age and stage of my profession. The audiences have modified, the writing has modified… One thing with that means and entertaining as healthful.
“Whether or not constructive or damaging (roles), simply comfortable to be working to be trustworthy. That is such a good time for Indian cinema. There’s a lot content material on the market, a lot new expertise, such a contemporary eye on the best way movies are being written, and what audiences are liking,” he added.
