The Assam authorities has signed memorandum of understanding or MoUs with microfinance establishments (MFIs) to assist girls debtors from poor households, the state authorities stated on Tuesday.
A complete of 38 MFIs and banks signed the MoU with the state authorities, which is able to stay in drive until March 31, 2023, the federal government stated on the launch of the programme attended by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and state ministers.
Microfinance Establishments Community, North East Small Finance Financial institution, Affiliation of Small Finance Financial institution of India and Nightingale Finvest are amongst a number of the companies which have signed up.
